Forest Hill - Readville line. Old passenger station, built in 1883 of granite and brownstone by Sturgis and Brigham Architects. Abandoned in 1933 (orphaned from the New Haven Railroad six years before this photograph was taken when the tracks were torn out to permit construction of U.S. Route 1) and torn down in 1951.
